Calorimetry found at Knitty.
Reminder: lovely ones at Vicki's.
Model: wet-haired and reluctant!
Yarn: Galway leftovers.
This was a quick little project to start off the year. Despite getting gauge, I had to cast on 30 stitches less than the pattern called for. I know we have pinheads, but really.
In this freakishly warm January, this is all you need to protect your ears against the elements.
We are now considering beads.

Cool to see you on Whip-Up! :)

Gorgeous button! It reminds me of mint candy.
I've cast on for that pattern twice and it was enormous! I thought maybe it was just me! (although my sis had problems with the size too) Maybe the third time will be the charm!

The beads will totally make it... they're adorable.

That headband is really lovely and I think the beads would be a great idea!

Very "meet you at the ice rink after the Sock Hop". Love it. And the beads? Marvy.
Hope your holidays were wonderful and peaceful.

Oh... that reminds me I cast on for this (Calorimetry) while at my Mother's for Christmas. I never got to knit a stitch. I think it may still be tucked in the side pocket of my suitcase. It looks lovely on your model reluctant or not.

Oooh, me, too! Love the blue. I cast on the same number of stitches with the last one, but used a size smaller needle -- it was a little more firm, just a bit smaller.
