When it is too hot in the sun, be like a cat:
sleep in the shade without moving for several hours, preferably in a bug-free zone like the screened in porch. Only get up if someone has prepared you food or a cool drink.
Summer is here and it is indeed hot.
LOVE the cat wisdom. WE have 3 cats now.
Rozzy; grizzabella like ;(
Beatles the baby
and Tank, the half siamese 2 year old boy

Ugh...it has been terribly warm. I myself into such a crabby mood when it's like this...I like to live in my AC'd bedroom and call my husband to bring me cool snacks and drinks!

Great advice and terrific photo.
We have two cats: George and Scruffy--brother and sister. George slept through most of the powerless days ---he curled up in his favorite spot in the basement. Scruffy, however, was jittery and had to be near either Mike or me. She just could not get comfortable unless she was close to one of us. We had to inch her away from our hot skin as a 17 lb. ball of fur was the last thing we needed up against us in 90 degree weather!
I love your porch setting. I've always wanted a wicher set and that pillow and coffe table are sooo cool!:>)

That's good advice - I will follow him, because on weekends it is hot again.

Looks a perfect place to keep cool inside, just before enjoying summer hot days.

What a fabulous little nook! It is really beautiful and restful looking. I love that table! Yes, cats really know how to keep cool, don't they.
