Note to self:
Never try that again, photographing myself in the mirror. You all make it look so easy.
This is the One Day Beret found here. I didn't manage it in one day. I only do evening knitting anyway. But it was quick.
I am still trying to blaze new leftover trails. I complain I need more wool and yet it was pointed out to me by the person who share's the closet, ahem, that there are two full bins of wool right there.
And yes, I have two full bins of yarn and only enough wool for one complete project. The rest, remainders. This is Jo Sharp Dk, a ball and a bit. So I didn't wipe that one out entirely but I'm getting close.
This beret is top down and you can customise the brim size to your head, a big boon for the pin heads like me who swim in most hat patterns. And you can make it as slouchy as you want.
This fits perfectly
(Cue angels singing)
I used to wear berets a lot but then I guess they went out of fashion for a while. It's not like your ears need to be warm or anything. Sheesh.
